Little Flock
Monday, August 5, 2013 at 9:06PM "Do not fear, my little flock!" Those are the words in the Gospel this coming weekend. Fr. Dan Riley, ofm, walks us through those words, fear in our own lives and the hope of Jesus.

Luke 12: 32-48
Jesus said to his disciples:
“Do not be afraid any longer, little flock,
for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom.
Sell your belongings and give alms.
Provide money bags for yourselves that do not wear out,
an inexhaustible treasure in heaven
that no thief can reach nor moth destroy.
For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.

Thank you so much for this podcast! Your words and the message are exactly what I needed to hear today to pull me back from some of the heaviness of life so I can refocus on all the good in life. I especially like your invitation to "reflect on richness when possibly we've been feeling the poverty of our own ability" and your reminder about "a pace that would invite us to move ahead w/ light steps." I needed a call to tenderness and compassion; thank you!
