Where to Stay

The Mountain offers various types of accommodations. Hermitages are equipped with toilet-shower facilities, propane or wood heat, refrigerators, small stoves and beds. La Posada is the only rustic hermitage on the property. It only has a bed, desk and fireplace. The Main House (House of Peace) and the Other House also provide rooms for individuals who may be joining us for a longer stay.

The House of Peace is a large timber frame home invites us to prepare and celebrate common meals, enjoy conversations, read and relax. There are six guest rooms here. We welcome guests of all ages and enjoy families with children when they are looking for a prayerful way of life.

The Other House has guest rooms equipped with beds, a chair, a dressing table and closet. Each room has its own outdoor deck with chair so that guests may sit in an open outdoor space for solitude and a view of the hills and valleys. There is a common kitchen and three communal bathrooms. There is also a common living room with a wood burning stove. The Other House is centrally heated and has a solar panel on its roof that supplements electrical power used on the premises.
