Remembering Dan Hurley, ofm

Fr. Dan Hurley, ofm, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2010. Hurls has been here from the beginning when he accepted Dan Riley’s invitation to be part of the early team that began the Mountain. He retired from a long teaching career in June 1990; most of those years spent at St. Bonaventure University. He resided at the Mountain as a mentor to many, served as an invaluable connection to SBU Alumni Services since he knows so many of the alumni. Dan was 90 years old and was a friar for 68 years. He graduated from SBU in 1940.
